Shanghai Tang's unique Imperial Tailoring collection offers made-to-measure service supported by a strong heritage of legendary Shanghainese tailoring - the only Chinese "Haute Couture" house with a unique fusion of east meets west silhouettes with exquisite vintage craftsmanship. Much of the Shanghainese tailoring skills and fashions were lost during the cultural revolution, with now only a fragment of houses employing the ancient techniques, Shanghai Tang being one of the last bastions.
