The ESCADA Group is a globally operating group of companies in the luxury segment producing and selling high-class clothing and accessories under the product lines ESCADA and ESCADA SPORT.

The roots go back to 1976 when Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley founded their first fashion house, which later became ESCADA AG. In November 2009, the worldwide business of former ESCADA AG was acquired by ESCADA Luxembourg S.a r.l., a company indirectly owned by a trust of the Mittal family.

Today, ESCADA Luxembourg S.a r.l. is the parent company of the ESCADA Group consisting of more than 20 international subsidiaries. With around 1,260 points of sale, ESCADA is present in over 80 countries worldwide.
