Rival Swimwear

Rival Swimwear originated in 1993 after the success that founders Brian and Corin Powell, had with their active-wear brand Running Bare. Brian and Corin, who at the time held the licensing agreement with Arena International for the Australian market, made the strategic decision to re-focus their competitive swim resources and create their own Australian made swimwear brand.

With this, Rival Swimwear was born, and in the space of a few short years achieved an amazing following and brand awareness through its sponsorship of athletes and events in the areas of pool, triathlon & surf life saving in Australia, the USA, Japan and Europe. Over the years Rival has been the official apparel supplier to the Uncle Toby's Ironman Series then later the Kelloggs Nutri-Grain Ironman Series, and other events including the Accenture Triathlon series and the Peters Beach Volleyball series.

Rival is renowned for its high level of quality, Australian made swimwear and consistently offering exceptional fit and comfort. The Rival range caters for all swimwear markets, offering the choice of Chlorine resistant fabrics, Sun protection, high performance fabrics and the latest fashion colours and trends.

Rival Swimwear has maintained and continues to grow from strength to strength in the Australian market, with retailers including Rebel Sport, Amart all sports, Sportspower, Rowe & Jarman and most independent sports stores and aquatic centres. Whilst expanding into new exports markets including New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and most recently capturing the UK market.
